With our network of customs clearance links we are able to control the import of fruit and vegetables throughout whichever port your cargo arrives in the UK. With the introduction of the “PEACH SYSTEM” DEFRA has put into place a system that will enable perishable importers and agents to notify DEFR of impending arrivals into the UK of fruit and vegetables which may be subject to inspection. DEFRA is carrying out a risk based assessment of the information provided via the peach system and will either issue a “Certificate of Conformity” or flag up your cargo for inspection. RJJ is fully experienced with this procedure and will assist you and notify DEFRA on your behalf.
