Managing Director

Sten has worked in the shipping and transport industry since leaving uni 1979. After working a few years in Sweden and Germany, he moved to the UK in 1984. Sten has held various positions and directorships with Shipping Lines, International Freight Forwarding, Liner Agents and Warehouse companies. Owner  of RJJ Freight Ltd since 1993. 

Director

Nigel started as a freight forwarder way back in 1988 and has enjoyed various roles within the forwarding industry.  He joined RJJ Freight Ltd in 1992 as an Import Clerk and worked his way up to his current role as Director. Nigel is now regularly involved in all aspects of the day to day comings and goings as well as his role within the Personal Effects Team which work closely with its customers and partners in the International Removals Industry.

Commercial Director

With Over 35 years in the forwarding industry Kevin has amassed a wealth of experience, travelling the globe sourcing and empowering trusted agents to act in accordance with RJJ’s code of conduct, business ethics and high standard of service. Kevin always goes the extra mile offering a personal, professional and reliable solution to any scenario for our customers.

Director

Paul has worked in the freight industry since 1985 taking up various import and export positions and promoted to Operations Manager for the company where he worked for 27 years. Then moving as Branch Manager to a leading logistics company covering world-wide air, sea and land movements and Key Account Management. Paul has a wealth of experience, travelling overseas setting up agency agreements and participating in sales functions. The key to a long-lasting customer relationship is that “We fully understand and take on board customers’ needs and objectives “

Financial Controller/Company Secretary

Hazel began her career within the shipping industry in 1983, gaining comprehensive knowledge of the import and export industry in various accounting roles. Hazel joined RJJ in 1995 and was appointed Financial Controller and Company Secretary in 2002 and now oversees all financial matters for RJJ.

Shipping Co-ordinator

Chinita joined RJJ direct from school in 2005, starting as an office junior and has over the years accumulated knowledge and experience to handle exports and imports around the world from commercial goods to vehicles. Our aim to maintain a good relationship with long standing and new customers, ensuring all shipments run as smoothly as possible and will always go the extra mile to provide a personal and professional service.

Leanne entered the freight forwarding industry back in 1986, typing airway bills as an office junior and was hooked. Through the years Leanne has held many different positions and gained extensive air and sea freight experience. What I love about this job is it’s never boring, every day brings new challenges and you never stop learning new things!

Air Freight Heathrow Office

I have been in the airfreight industry for 19 years and have gained experience and knowledge in moving various types of cargo including perishable foods, pharmaceuticals and general cargo. Every day is different and brings different challenges. Being the best in the industry is very important and ensuring that our customers receive the best level of service at all times and ensuring their cargo is kept in safe hands is key to me.

I have been in the logistics industry since 2001 and I have had several roles in the warehouse, shipping, logistics and freight forwarding sectors, covering both exports and imports. 

My responsibility is to ensure imported cargo is cleared through customs accurately and in a timely fashion. We have a brilliant hard working team in Manchester and it’s a pleasure to support and lead this team.
